Mapping Debugging/Extraction based on Resolving Inconsistencies
Automatically generated mappings between two ontologies often contains erroneous correspondences. Merging these ontologies based on the semantic relations expressed by the mapping will therefore introduce inconsistencies. This information can be used in the mapping extraction (or debugging) process and will increase the quality of the generated mapping.

Interactive Thesaurus Analysis
In this presentation, we propose a method for thesaurus evaluation that is based on a combination of statistical measures and appropriate visualization techniques that supports the detection of potential problems in a thesaurus.

Distributed Resolution Reasoning
When resolution is used for DL reasoning, there are different representation levels that are subject to distribution. Apart from splitting up the original (e.g. OWL-) ontology alternatives are distributing the corresponding FOL clauses or a (possibly approximated) translation of the clauses to rules. Distribution on the different levels of the representation corresponds to application of different local reasoners and appropriate communication between them. We propose the combination of a special skolemization/resolution method designed for description logic and a first order logic approach for distributed clauses.
